Placement Suggestions:

Center Speaker:
  1. Sound from the center speaker should seem to come from the center of the TV screen
  2. Place the speaker either above or below the TV, on line with the vertical center of the screen
  3. The speaker is magnetically shielded. It can be placed close to a monitor
Surround Speakers:
  1. The surround speakers should be positioned behind the listeners, 4 to 12 feet apart
  2. Be sure they are not pushed back from the front edge of a shelf. This could negatively affect sound quality
  3. They should be within 18 inches of a back wall
Receiver Settings:
  1. For a Digital receiver: set the center and surround speakers to Small
  2. For a Pro-Logic receiver: set the center speaker to Normal and the surround speakers to small
